The schedule for the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) began with the publication of the Notice of Intent on November 9, 2007. The EIS process is expected to continue through the spring of 2009. As the following milestones are reached (see tentative dates, below), additional information will be posted to this website.

• Notice of Intent: Published November 9, 2007
• Public Scoping Period: November 9, 2007 through December 14, 2007
• Draft EIS: November 28, 2008
• Public Review and Comment Period: November 28, 2008 through January 23, 2009
• Public Hearing: December 16, 2008
• Final EIS: April 10, 2009
• 30-day Public Review Period: 30 days after Final EIS published
• Record of Decision: May 22, 2009
